Well today’s the day! I’m off to Kansas City this morning to go to MEPS (military entrance processing station). I’m spending all day there waiting around for a physical, while learning how to “hurry up and wait” in about 10 different lines while they process everybody. On the 12th I’ll be on my way to Fort Jackson in South Carolina. After that I’ll be kissing mud for the next 9 weeks! I promise to keep in touch with those who have given me their addresses, and I hope they share the news with you all! I’ll miss you all, and I’ll see you in October!
